Maybe something feels stuck; in your life, your work, or yourself. Maybe you’re leading something and the weight of it is getting heavier. Maybe you’re building something and you need someone to think alongside you. Maybe you’re a practitioner who needs a space with someone that really gets the kind of work you do. Maybe you’re an organisation that knows something needs to change but isn’t sure where to start. Maybe you’re looking to bridge the gap between your values and your practice.

[ BRIDGING THE GAP ]
Most organisations have made the commitments. The values statements are written, the equity strategies are published, the training has been delivered. And yet the gap between what is said at the top and what is experienced on the ground persists in most organisations.
It shows up in who gets hired, the staff surveys that don’t translate into action, the conversations happening in the kitchen but not in the boardrooms. It is felt in the room; in who speaks and who stays silent, who is heard and who is not. In the policies that look good on paper but don’t translate into practice. In the distance between the values on the wall and the culture in the room. In the staff who are overworked, burnt out, and watching the organisation bring in more work whilst the conditions remain unchanged.
That gap is not a failure of intention, it’s all in the implementation; gaps between policy and practice, between commitment and culture, between what organisations say they are and what they actually do day to day.
That is where I work.

Good work requires good wellbeing. It is what makes everything else possible, and organisations that see this as the foundation are more likely to thrive.
I offer contracted staff reflective practice and healing circle spaces for organisations; creating room for Black staff to slow down, speak to their experience, be supported, and be heard. These spaces are facilitated by me directly, a Consultant Psychodynamic Psychotherapist who understands what it means to show up fully in environments that weren’t designed with you in mind.
Healing circles draw on community and cultural traditions of collective reflection and support. They create conditions for honesty, connection, and restoration, and they send a signal to Black staff that their experience matters.
These spaces centre Black staff. This is intentional, because when we address the needs of those most at the margins and most negatively impacted, we all benefit. We can however discuss how other minoritised staff who are navigating similar, but different, experiences might be able to access support.
These spaces are only offered as part of a wider organisational engagement. [Find out more →](/faq)

I work with organisations to bridge the gap between their commitments and their culture; supporting leadership and teams to understand what is getting in the way, and to develop the conditions for things to actually change. This is not about a one-off training or a diversity statement, it is about sustained, honest engagement with the systems, structures, and cultures that shape how an organisation works.
This work might include:
• Working with leadership teams to understand and address the gap between policy and practice
• Supporting organisations to develop more culturally grounded, inclusive ways of working
• Facilitating honest conversations about power, race, and culture within organisations
• Developing internal accountability structures that go beyond compliance
• Supporting organisations through significant cultural change or transition
I work across levels, from leadership to frontline, and I like to bring the whole organisation into the process; making it interactive, generative, and owned by the people doing the work.
This work is often done in partnership with other consultants and organisations who share the same political and cultural commitments. I am selective about who I bring in, because the values in the room matter as much as the skills.
The work is shaped around your specific context, needs and budget. We begin with a scoping conversation to understand what you are trying to achieve and whether working together is the right fit.

I offer therapy for Black staff members as part of a wider organisational engagement, explicitly framed as support for individuals navigating a system that is changing around them,
not as a solution to a problem located in them.
This offer is only available as part of a wider organisational engagement. Find out more.

Rest, reflection, and restoration as a collective act.
I offer day and residential retreats for Black practitioners, activists, leaders, and staff teams; creating space to slow down, reconnect, and restore, away from the environments that have been making demands on them.
Retreats are grounded in the belief that rest is not a luxury but a political act, particularly for Black people in a world that has historically demanded so much and given so little back. They draw on community, creativity, and collective wisdom, and are held with care and intention.
Retreats are offered in London, across the UK, and internationally. Location is agreed based on what the group needs.
Please get in touch to discuss.
FEES
My standard therapy fee for individual sessions within an organisational engagement is £120 per session, and £180 per session for EMDR.
All other organisational work (reflective practice, healing circles, staff wellbeing, retreats, and consultation) is priced based on scope, organisational size, and budget. I am committed to making this work accessible to smaller community organisations, and will always have an honest conversation about what is possible.
